Greg Eckis, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Eckis was born in Miami, grew up in Central Florida, and attended veterinary school at Auburn University where he graduated in 1999. He spent the first part of his career as a dairy practitioner in 5 different states - and still has a few dairy clients he consults with. In 2018, Dr. Eckis started practicing small animal medicine in the Gainesville area. He enjoys the challenge of veterinary medicine and surgery, as well as the client relationships that develop from it. Dr. Eckis lives in Hatchbend with his family on a farm where they care for sheep, cattle, chickens, goats, fish, rabbits, horses, and a Great Pyrenees dog named Tank. In his free time, he enjoys any outdoor recreation, winemaking, gardening, and guitar picking.
