Lance Baltzley, DVMDr. B is passionate about veterinary medicine and enjoys giving back to our local community. He truly cares about each patient, each owner, and each employee, and strives to provide the best quality of care to each. He spends most of his time with orthopedic patients and in surgery, but in his spare time, enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura and her 2 children, Cassidy and Austin. His hobbies include doing projects in his workshop, travel, and a passion for learning and mentoring.
Cassi Fleming, DVMNEWBERRY: Dr. Fleming is a 2014 graduate from the UF College of Veterinary Medicine (Certificates: Food Animal Medicine and Veterinary Business). Since graduation, she has been working as a DVM in the area, and is a 'Staff Vet' for the continuing education platform “Vetfolio". Her special interests include pet dentistry and geriatric medicine, and in her spare time, she enjoys yoga, gardening, and spending time with her husband, Josh, 2 daughters, and their dogs Patches and Wrigley.
Nicole Fletcher, DVM39th AVE: Dr. Fletcher has had over 20 years experience at an AAHA practice and member of AAFP, but did her small animal internship at UF. She has a special interest in surgery, emergency medicine and animal behavior. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband Frank, and 3 children, as well as practicing yoga, gardening and reading.
Camille Gangulee, DVMMAIN STREET: Dr. Gangulee graduated from University of Florida with a B.S. in Biology, and worked as a veterinary technician for 2 years before returning to UF to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine, and community involvement. She enjoys trying out new foods, traveling, and experiencing other cultures. But she can also stay home binge watching TV shows with her loving husband and their two dogs, Comet & Jack.
Kaylynn Gruntmeir, DVM39TH AVE- Dr. Gruntmeir, born and raised in Oklahoma, received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from OSU. Her professional interests include clinical pathology, internal medicine and preventative care. She promotes her clients to actively participate in the overall health and longevity of their pets. She and her husband, Jeff, and daughter, Esther, enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and exploring nature, and have 2 cats (Hazel and Poppy) and 3 dogs (Princess, Madeline, and Buff).
Greg Long, DVMNEWBERRY- Dr. Long graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography from FSU and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UF. He is a commissioned officer in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. Lieutenant Colonel/Dr. Long previously worked as a Vet Technician with our hospital. His professional interests include: internal medicine and palliative care. He and his wife have two sons, a daughter, and one dog. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Ishita Shah, DVMNEWBERRY-Dr. Shah was born and raised in West Palm Beach, but is a 'double Gator', with a B.S. in Zoology and DVM from UF. She has experience as a veterinary tech, and has worked with numerous species (i.e. sea turtles, reptiles, and birds.) Her professional interests are in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family, baking, running with her dogs (Nala and Bowser), stand-up paddle boarding and working out with her significant other, Rich.
Ruthann Spinosa, DVM, Director of Medical ServicesHOLISTIC- Dr. Ruth-Ann Spinosa graduated from the UF College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a B.S. in Animal Sciences before earning her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Spinosa enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in acupuncture, feline medicine, and dermatology. Dr. Spinosa's husband, Chris, and their children, Emma and Ian, have 2 cats, and 2 dogs. Dr. Spinosa is an avid reader, runner, and enjoys attending Gator football games.
Jessie Stanley, DVM, Director of OperationsDr. Stanley graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 2005 before earning his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at UF. He has a strong interest in surgery, including more advanced procedures. Dr. S is a Scout leader, serving as Cubmaster for his son’s Pack, and as Asst. Scoutmaster for his oldest son’s Troop. He recently received his Wood Badge beads for advanced leadership in scouting, and loves spending time with his family and many pets.
